Use Ultra-Lite Oil for locomotive bushings and other moving parts on locomotives and rolling stock, with the exception of gears. Lubricate gears with a grease like White Grease.

What are Hob-Bits made out of and are they heat treated?
The Hob-Bit products are made out of high quality brass and are not heat treated

What size wrench fits the hex heads on the H865 Hob-Bit? Do I need the wrench that you sell? Or can I use a 1/8" nut driver?
You will need our #H886 size 0-80 wrench. A 1/8" nut driver will be too big.

What are your Wrenches made of and how do they work?
The Hob-Bits Wrenches are nickel-plated steel. They are for use with any of the Hob-Bits Screws. Match the size of the wrench to the size screw you are using.
The Wrench works similarly to a socket wrench. Position the wrench over the head of the screw and turn. -
What does Major Diameter and Minor Diamater apply to in your Hob-Bits chart?
Major diameter is the measurement of the space from the outermost point of the thread on one side of the screw to the outermost point of the thread on the opposite side of the screw. Minor diameter is the measurement of the space between the innermost points of the threads.
